The word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double edge sword it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit.
Holly and Dave set the prophetic context and direction for Kingdom Life in 2018. It is a year for rediscovering His majesty, holiness and the fear of the Lord. For us to be transformed into His image, we need a right image to be transformed into. This includes Abba Father who we can approach intimately and the King of Kings and Lord of Lord who we must approach with reverence and holy fear.
As we balance both of these this year God’s glory will fall in a manifest way. It is a promise and something that is shown throughout the bible.
Dave starts a series looking at how we shine in life, not for our glory, but so the world will get to know God (ps 67). In this first one he looks at the spiritual principle of tithing and how God promises to open the floodgates of heaven when we trust him and give our first 10%
Dave looks at the power and authority given to us by Jesus, that enables us to see miracles and advance the Kingdom of Heaven. Through studying John 18 Dave highlights three lesser/counterfeit forms of power and authority that stop us from walking in the true authority we have as sons and daughters of God
Holly look at the commission Jesus gave the disciples in Matthew 10: to “heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons and proclaim the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
Jesus didn’t set us up to fail, but gave us the authority to do this with Him, the hope of glory in us!
As part of the vision series Dave looks at ‘what do we want to be known for?’ He outlines KL’s desire to do all aspects of church well, but most importantly for us to be a place where God’s glory falls and rests. Using Ezra 3 he explores how we first need to build an altar.
